Assembler

Staffmark is hiring Assemblers for a leading material handling equipment supplier in Berea, KY. If you have a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a desire to grow with a global company, this is the opportunity for you!

Shift Details:

• 1st Shift: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Mon-Thurs)
• 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM (Mon-Thurs)

Pay: Competitive based on shift and experience

Responsibilities

• Assemble and inspect a variety of parts, subassemblies, and components to build lift trucks
• Build assemblies such as drive axles, side shifters, brakes, tires, seats, lights, and more
• Test and inspect products, making adjustments as needed
• Use tools and follow procedures accurately and safely
• Maintain equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure a clean work area
• Document work using the BAM system
• Follow Standard Operating Instructions (SOEs), diagrams, and shop orders

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of assembly or manufacturing experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to interpret and work from prints, diagrams, and written instructions
• General knowledge of tools and assembly processes
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Proficient with basic computer systems
• Familiarity with DFT (Demand Flow Technology) techniques
• Safety awareness and proper use of PPE
• National Career Readiness Certification preferred
