Painter

• Mix and apply paint to products and miscellaneous parts using sprayers
• Store, use, and dispose of paints and hazardous materials properly
• Clean and maintain sprayers and painting equipment
• Identify, pull, wash, and stage parts for painting
• Report material shortages and damages to supervision
• Participate in Lean events and continuous improvement initiatives
• Report unsafe acts or conditions immediately
• Remain open to change and new information
• Work flexible shifts including mandatory overtime and occasional Sundays
• Wear required PPE including safety glasses and steel-toe boots

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume material painting environment
• Strong time management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production setting
• High attention to detail
• Basic computer and painting equipment operation skills
• Knowledge of basic painting practices
• Forklift experience preferred
• Ability to pass a respirator fit test
• Must reside in Houston, TX or surrounding areas
• Must be able to meet physical demands of strenuous, standing work in a climate-controlled warehouse
