Staffmark
is seeking a skilled and dependable Broadband Technician for a full-time opportunity in Laguna Hills, CA. If you have a background in electronics or cable system maintenance and enjoy working both independently and with customers, we want to hear from you!

Pay Range: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift (Daytime hours only)

The Broadband Technician will troubleshoot, maintain, and extend installed drop systems in residential units. This is an on-site role that requires regular interaction with residents, departments, and teams across the community.

Responsibilities:



  • Troubleshoot and maintain feeder distribution and drop systems
  • Identify, locate, and repair cable system issues from premises to the tap
  • Operate testing and maintenance equipment for broadband cable systems
  • Use AC electronic theory, calculations, and standard cable practices
  • Explain and install cable boxes and accessories for residents
  • Maintain accurate records of time, materials, and completed work
  • Respond to written service requests and resident concerns
  • Attend meetings, workshops, and perform other related duties as needed



What We're Looking For:



  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in electronics, broadband, or cable repair
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with test equipment and cable systems
  • Knowledge of electrical tools, techniques, and safety practices
  • Ability to read, write, and follow job instructions in English
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must hold a valid California driver's license
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and pass a respiratory fit and function test
  • Comfortable with frequent standing, walking, kneeling, and crawling
