About the Job

The Humphrey School is looking to hire limited, part-time research assistants for Summer 2025. The research areas include transportation studies, economic competitiveness, racial and ethnic inequality, human rights and global policy.

Hours and schedule: 10-20 hours/week
Pay rate: $27.00 per hour

Depending on the specific project, responsibilities may include:

  • Attending and/or coordinating research team meetings
  • Conducting literature review
  • Gathering and archiving data
  • Developing survey tools
  • Contributing to reports and analysis

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • College coursework in domestic or global public policy, economics, urban planning, or other relevant fields
  • Relevant quantitative and/or qualitative research experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree (or relevant graduate coursework)
  • Experience with data visualization
Pay and Benefits

Pay Rate: $27.00 per hour
