Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Student Intern.
In this role, the successful candidate Reporting to the Clinical Trials Office Program Supervisor, your responsibilities will include supporting clinical trials at Perlmutter Cancer Center. This position is geared towards college students with the expectation of full time work during the summer and per diem availability (approximately 15 hours) during the school year to remain compliant with trainings. The Student Intern will initially learn and support administrative responsibilities (data, regulatory, finance) and then progress to clinical coordination and biospecimen processing.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist research teams in filing study documents.
Uploading study document to our e-regulatory system.
Maintaining study binders and e-binders for regulatory specialist.
Submit modifications to the IRB.
Perform data entry in study sponsor electronic case report forms.
Register patients.
Assist study budget preparation.
Assisting data managers with patient letters and chart retrieval.
Assist clinical research nurses and coordinators with participant visits.
Prepare source documentation for investigator review.
Assist in eligibility review.
Assist in biospecimen processing.
Additional duties as needed.

To qualify you must have a The student intern must be a full-time student, or if working in the summer months (Mid-May through Mid-Sept), must be planning to return to full-time status in the fall.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $16.50 - $20.00 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
