Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and resourceful Communications & Collaboration Support Specialist to join our IT End User Services team. This role plays a key part in the design, support, and ongoing operation of the company's corporate audiovisual and collaboration environment, while also providing advanced support for Microsoft 365 email and collaboration tools.

This position is part of the Desktop Solutions team and is expected to actively work on End User Services tickets in addition to providing whiteglove support for meetings, events, and collaboration technologies

This position requires coverage from 8:00 am to 5:00 PM, coordinated with teammates based on business needs. The candidate must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays for rotational On-Call and event duties. The contract period is 6 months, with potential for full-time employment.

Responsibilities:

Communications, AV & Executive Support



  • Provide white glove support for executive and board level meetings, town halls, trainings, and company events
  • Set up, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot AV systems for in person, virtual, and hybrid meetings
  • Support virtual and hybrid conferencing platforms including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Webex
  • Handle incoming booking requests for AV equipment and meeting support
  • Manage the lifecycle of AV and collaboration equipment, including inventory tracking, usage monitoring, and replacement planning
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues that could impact meeting quality or user experience


End User Services & Team Collaboration



  • Actively work on End User Services tickets as needed to support daily operations
  • Provide basic troubleshooting for Windows OS, enterprise applications, and enduser hardware
  • Support peripherals and workstation components such as monitors, docks, and headsets
  • Follow ITSM processes for ticket handling, documentation, and escalation
  • Collaborate with EUS teammates and provide guidance to junior staff as needed


Required Skills:



  • Experienced in the set up and operation of event technology such as audio mixers, wireless microphones, video matrix switchers, broadcast and PTZ cameras
  • Proficient with Microsoft O365 tools (Teams, Live events) and Zoom webinars
  • Skilled in installing and troubleshooting Microsoft OS, O365 Suite, Teams, SharePoint, and Box
  • Working knowledge of Crestron, Logi, MS Teams Rooms, Zoom, Windows and Android based UC platforms and hardware
  • Familiarity with DSPs (e.g., Biamp, Q-SYS), switchers (Crestron, Extron), and video routing
  • Understanding of audio/video signal flow (HDMI, SDI, Dante, NDI, etc.)
  • Diagnose and resolve issues quickly under time pressure
  • Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders
  • IP Addressing for AV over IP systems
  • Basic ITIL knowledge and experience with ITSM tools (Helix, ServiceNow, Remedy, Cherwell, HEAT)


Required Experience:



  • High School Diploma
  • Associate degree or bachelor's degree in computer science or related technology background strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in supporting, and maintaining a corporate AV environment, including teleconferencing, presentation, and general AV technologies
  • 3+ years of experience providing general Deskside Support to users in a corporate environment
  • Industry standard IT certifications (A+, Microsoft Office, MCP) a plus
