Are you an Echocardiography Technologist looking for an exciting PRN opportunity? If so, Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington DC, has the perfect opportunity for you!

Sibley Memorial Hospital, a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine, has a distinguished history of serving the community since its founding in 1890. As a not-for-profit and full-service community hospital, Sibley offers medical, surgical, intensive care, obstetric, oncology, orthopedic and skilled nursing inpatient services, as well as a 24-hour Emergency Department. Sibley's campus is also home to Grand Oaks, an assisted living residence; a medical building with physician offices and ambulatory surgery and imaging centers.

General Summary: Performs 2D, M-mode, colorflow, pulsed, and continuous wave Doppler on adult patients throughout the hospital. Assists the physician with Tranesophageal, contrast, doubtamine, and stress echocardiophy. Cross trains personnel from department into echocardiography.

Minimum Education and Experience:




  • Successful completion of a recognized AMA or AMA equivalent allied health program for diagnostic medical cardiac sonography, or an Associates Degree of equivalent college hours in the health sciences, nursing, radiologic technology or respiratory therapy, or equivalent of five years of work experience. Pediatric echo experience preferred.
  • Must be a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer credentialed by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, or a Registered Cardiovascular Technologist credentialed by Cardiovascular Credentials International.
  • Current CPR Certification required.



Shift: PRN, Day Shift. Applicant must have flexibility.

Salary Range: Flat rate of $58/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
