Workforce Development Partner, Corporate, Full Time, Days

Job Summary

Participates in planning, communicating and executing targeted talent pipeline initiatives for the Workforce Development department. Duties include candidate outreach, selection, program enrollment support, tracking of success metrics and reporting outcomes for regulatory agencies and college partners. Serves as a success coach for career transition programs. Collaborates with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure the smooth transition of team members to next level within their career pathway.

Accountabilities

  • Supports team members in the exploration of career pathways and the selection of an area of focus. - 15%

  • Assists team members with the interpretation of career assessment/inventory results. - 15%

  • Serves as a success coach for career transition programs (i.e. School at Work, etc.). - 20%

  • Assists team members to gain access to educational resources (i.e. apprenticeships, education assistance, loan support, deferred billing, scholarships, grants, and supportive services. - 20%

  • Serve as a liaison with community partners to assist team members with program enrollment. - 10%

  • Participates in speaking engagements, to market and promote career development programs. - 10%

  • Tracks success metrics and outcomes of workforce development programs. - 10%

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

This is a non-management job that would report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree - Human Resources, Human Resources Development, Career Guidance/Counseling, Business or related degree

  • 2 years - Workforce Development, Career Development, Career Counseling, Education

Knowledge, Skills or Abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Public speaking and presentation skills

  • Proficient computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases

  • Global Career Development Facilitator/Navigator or be willing to complete the course and obtain the credentials with 120 days of employment. - Preferred
