Location: 800 Philadelphia Street Indiana PA 15701 Hours: 8:00am- 5:00pm Monday through Friday Function: Responsible for the day-to-day recruitment process at the Bank. Assists the ES Management Team in carrying out the Bank's strategy, in market areas we serve. Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversees the recruitment process and the day-to-day compliance related to the function to ensure quality candidates are hired. Works closely with Risk Management, Compensation and Benefits, hiring managers, and other Recruitment personnel to ensure compliance to applicable HR recruiting laws and regulations.
Performs various duties for the recruitment and hiring of employees, including the following: Works closely with supervisors and managers on hiring of each employee to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws. Oversees the job posting process and ensures accurate dissemination of all posted jobs. Recommends specific internal and external individuals for openings in the Bank. Evaluates employment applications and resumes. Seeks candidates from the applicant pool. Answers various inquiries from inside and outside the bank on the hiring process; job openings, status of application/resume or employment questions. Schedules and conducts both phone and in-person interviews of internal and external candidates including, prescreening. Offers employment to candidates verbally and written as well as completes appropriate paperwork. Coordinates declinations to internal and external applicants, including verbally notifying internal candidates. Creates efficiencies using our HRIS System
Utilizes a variety of sourcing channels, including LinkedIn, the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), job centers, educational institutions, career fairs, newspapers, and temporary or outside recruitment agencies to attract talent. Represents S&T Bank at high school and college career fairs, as well as other recruitment events.
Initiates, reviews and/or approves background checks results including: background investigation, obtaining credit and/or criminal histories, global sanctions, and references. On an ongoing basis, evaluates all background check systems for appropriateness and recommends changes as warranted.
Assists with the job analysis function through the following: Coordinating the job analysis function / maintaining job committee framework and integrity. Maintaining the bank of job descriptions ensuring that compliance and ensuring upkeep and accuracy. Collaboration with department managers on job analysis process and development of job descriptions. Working with the Recruitment team to coordinate job requisitions.
Partners with the Marketing department. To update, maintain and make recommendations regarding Recruitment materials including, but not limited to: the Recruitment brochure, branch signage, website, employee testimonial and organization videos, and social media. Participate in conjunction with the Marketing department in Student Advisory Boards.
Provides relative recruitment analytics to the Employee Services team as well as senior and executive management on: Number of revenue/sales positions. Number of add to staff and replacement positions. Time-to-fill. Number closed by division. Number hired.
Develops and maintains vendor relationships. Obtains and tracks contracts and/or agreements. Completes the vendor review process. Ensures that processes and procedures are adhered to as it aligns with the recruitment strategy. Determines what industry vendors align with the recruitment strategy to remain current.
Maintains a good working relationship with bank employees. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently, as well as motivated to work as a team player to contribute to the success of the department and in turn, the organization.
Education: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus specialized training or a two-year degree. or PHR certification preferred. Experience: Five to ten years specialized experience required, specifically HR, banking or business-related field. Physical Demands: Operates a keypad device 90-100% of the day. Operates office equipment 0-10% of the day. The primary parts of the body involved in performing these tasks are the fingers, thumbs, hands and wrists and elbows, lower torso, upper torso. Traveling to alternate work locations 20-30% and overnight stays required 10-20%. Sitting is required 70-80% per day.
