GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Deposit Operations Analytics Program Manager is a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual responsible for leading, coordinating, participating in, and implementing process improvement and product/service enhancement projects at the department or credit-union level. They provide expertise and support to strategic projects involving Deposit Operations, including, but not limited to, research, data analysis, process development, and testing.

This key role supports both the operational needs of the department and the strategic goals of the credit union through effective data analysis and process improvement. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, values accuracy and efficiency, and is passionate about enhancing member service through smart, data-driven solutions.

This role reports directly to the AVP of Deposit Operations and works cross-functionally with departments throughout the credit union. The successful candidate will focus on automation and process improvement initiatives and must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:




  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, Finance, or a related field or equivalent experence
  • Four (4) years experience working in an operational role in a financial institution


    • To include two (2) years experience in data compilation, analysis, and reporting



Minimum Knowledge & Skill Requirements:




  • Strong working knowledge of deposit products, services, and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies, processes, and tools
  • Ability to consult, build, and maintain solid working relationships in and outside of immediate management
  • Proficiency in data tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, and reporting platforms (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams and projects

WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT:

This job requires the employee to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Infrequent lifting up to 25 lbs.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Must comply with all aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES AND TASKS:




  • Manage and coordinate projects within the Deposit Operations department, ensuring timely and successful completion
  • Conduct thorough data analysis to support decision-making and strategy development
  • Collaborate with Payments Analyst to evaluate the operational impact of payment strategies and put them into action
  • Identify areas for operational improvement and help develop and implement automation solutions to streamline processes and improve efficiency
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance operational workflows
  • Utilize tools such as Tableau and SQL to analyze data, generate reports, and provide actionable insights
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
  • Maintain accurate documentation of project plans, progress, and outcomes
  • Assist with testing and implementation of new deposit or payment-related systems, products, and processes
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards to monitor performance metrics, operational trends, and service delivery outcomes
  • Partner with internal teams to understand data needs and deliver customized reports and recommendations
  • Support audit readiness and regulatory compliance by maintaining proper records and process documentation
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Salary range: $62,707.71 to $82,303.87 annually. Job Grade EX 13. Salary dependent on candidate's experience and qualifications.
