Komatsu is embarking on an enterprise-wide initiative to transform our digital experience. We are seeking an Adobe Commerce Business Analyst with hands-on experience in Adobe Commerce Cloud (ACC) to join the Digital Office in North America, supporting digital initiatives for all business segments (e.g. Construction; Global Mining; Montabert; Forestry; Forklift, etc.) In this role, you will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and cross-functional delivery teams, translating business needs into actionable digital commerce solutions. You will play a central role in defining requirements for Features and User Stories within Azure DevOps (ADO) to ensure high-quality, scalable Adobe Commerce implementations that deliver business value for the Komatsu Experience (KX) program.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Own and support initiatives designed to increase eCommerce revenue supporting online sales for parts, training and technology subscriptions.
- Partner with stakeholders across Komatsu's business units to understand strategic and eCommerce objectives, operational challenges, and customer needs.
- Lead and facilitate discovery sessions and business workshops to capture and prioritize requirements.
- Proactively work cross functionality to drive changes within business operations for eCommerce readiness.
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives, supporting efficient delivery cycles.
- Collaborate closely with development, QA, UX, and solution architecture teams to ensure that business needs are accurately translated into working solutions.
- Develop detailed acceptance criteria, process flows, and supporting documentation aligned with Adobe Commerce Cloud capabilities.
- Create, refine, and manage Features and User Stories in Azure DevOps (ADO), ensuring clarity, consistency, and traceability.
- Provide subject matter expertise and guidance throughout the SDLC, from planning and development through testing and launch.
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) efforts by validating functionality against business requirements and coordinating feedback loops.
- Identify and recommend process improvements and digital enablement opportunities using Adobe Commerce Cloud and related enterprise systems.
- Monitor project progress, manage requirement changes, and ensure alignment between business goals and technical implementation.
- Assist in onboarding new parts in PIM and developing programs to enhance part enrichment & merchandising.
- Assist in troubleshooting customer issues
Qualifications/Requirements
- 3+ years of Business Analyst experience, including 2+ years working with Adobe Commerce Cloud (Magento 2) in B2B environments.
- Strong background in creating and managing Features, Epics, and User Stories in Azure DevOps (ADO).
- Demonstrated experience in digital commerce projects in industrial market segments.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Deep understanding of ecommerce concepts including catalog, pricing, checkout, customer portals, system integrations, and subscription management.
- Familiarity with upstream and downstream enterprise systems such as ERP (e.g., SAP; Oracle), AEM (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager), Informatica P360 PIM, Learning Management Systems and Subscription Management.
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and cross-functional team collaboration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to clearly document requirements and effectively present to stakeholders.
- Proven problem-solving and critical thinking skills in fast-paced environments.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) in a content-commerce environment.
- Experience with Content authoring in AEM and DAM / Adobe Assets
- Exposure to headless commerce architectures and cloud-native ecosystems
