Are you passionate about transforming data into meaningful insights? Join us as a Data Visualization Engineer Intern and participate in exciting projects that drive impactful business decisions. You'll work on creating robust Power BI reports, supporting migrations from IBM Cognos to Microsoft Power BI, and developing key performance indicator (KPI) reporting. This internship offers a fantastic opportunity for a third-year (or above) student of Data Analytics (or a related field) to grow their expertise in a supportive and innovative environment.

• Design, develop, and optimize reports using Power BI to meet business and key performance indicator requirements.
• Support the migration of reporting solutions from Cognos to Power BI.
• Assist in data analysis efforts to uncover insights and trends.
• Document workflows, processes, and reporting solutions for future reference.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related field (3rd year or above preferred).
• Proficiency in for analytics and data visualization is a plus.
• SQL skills are a plus, including querying and data manipulation.
• Strong problem-solving, time management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to understand and clearly convey complex information to ensure team success.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Duration:

• This internship will run for five consecutive weeks, starting as soon as June 2^nd. This accounts for time off for company holidays.

Location:

• This internship requires you to work on-site at the GATX offices in the Willis Tower five days per week.
