Overview
TheDirector ofPre-Construction position is responsible for the firm's pre-construction activities which include estimating, design management and project development. This position requires extensive estimating experince in commerical and industrial construction. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the management, leadership and mentorship of the estimating manager and team members and providing them the leadership, support and expertise regarding the bid management process, cost databases, estimating software and implementing/improving estimating practices. Additional responsibilities include pre-bid attendance, managing the project development team members, leading Client meetings, leading the design-management process as it relates to project development during pre-construction phase. The ideal candidate should have proven high level construction estimating experience, personnel management experience, design management experience as well as leadership and mentoring skills. This role will be responsible for the management, growth and development of the estimating department.
