Job Summary

The Title IX Analyst (Pregnant and Parenting) serves as a Deputy Title IX Coordinator and is key in supporting pregnant and parenting students across all ten of the colleges within the Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD).

Working within the Compliance Office of the Office of General Counsel, the Title IX Analyst (Pregnant and Parenting) position collaborates closely with Equal Opportunity & Title IX Regional Directors to ensure consistent and effective implementation of Title IX policies. This opportunity is focused on advancing access to education by providing guidance, support, and coordination of services that empower pregnant and parenting students to thrive in their academic journey.

The Title IX Analyst (Pregnant and Parenting) plays an essential role in supporting Title IX compliance and ensuring equitable access for pregnant and parenting students across Maricopa. A passion for educational equity, strong knowledge of Title IX, and a commitment to helping students overcome barriers are central to this position. This role contributes to a district-wide effort to foster inclusive, supportive learning environments and make a meaningful impact on student success and equity.

Essential Functions

40%
  • Analyze pregnancy and parenting requests in accordance with Title IX requirements and applicable MCCCD policies, procedures, and Administrative Regulations.
  • Manage all pregnancy and parenting requests.
  • Serve as the primary staff member responsible for pregnant and parenting intake and case facilitation.
  • Schedule and conduct intake meetings with students and faculty, send notification letters, and ensure timely follow-up regarding academic or campus-based accommodations
  • Issue appropriate pregnancy or parenting modifications for students.
  • Elevate complex matters to the appropriate Title IX/EEO Regional Director.
  • Facilitate the implementation of supportive measures such as academic adjustments and referrals to on-campus or community-based resources.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential case documentation using Advocate Symplicity Student Conduct, Title IX, and Behavioral Intervention Management System.

30%
  • Coordinate lactation spaces across community college campuses, ensuring proper signage, accessibility, and upkeep.
  • Assist with Title IX training and educational resources to faculty, staff, and students regarding the rights and support services available to pregnant and parenting students.
  • Collaborate with faculty, academic departments, and student services (Disability Resources, Counseling, etc.) to ensure consistent support and response procedures across campuses.
  • Assist with the development and delivery of Pregnant and Parenting outreach materials such as presentations, online modules, and printed guides.
  • Assist with reviewing academic program policies and procedures related to parental accommodations to ensure alignment with federal and state requirements and promote best practices

  • Provide administrative support to the Title IX/EEO Regional Directors as needed

  • Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in education, business, or public administration, or directly related field, and two (2) years of related program management experience, preferably in an educational setting.

OR

An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above, sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job, such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered.

Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Title IX.
  • Experience with issuing accommodations.
  • Experience working for an institution of higher education or a school district.
  • Experience working in an office that administers Title VII, Title VI, Title IX, or student compliance.
  • Experience using higher education databases such as Maxient or Symplicity.


Special Working Conditions

The Regional Director position will be primarily located at the MCCCD District office located at 2411 W. 14th Street, Tempe, AZ 85281.

The position is expected to frequently travel to the colleges located within their region, as needed, to fulfill the Regional Director role.

This position is also expected to travel to colleges located within the other regions, as needed.
