- Review files for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to source material, providing clear and concise comments through digital markups, and perform initial edits to enhance content quality.
- Verify data and factual information using provided references and annotations, and flag permission requirements for copyrighted content.
- Act as primary/lead editor on assigned brands, serving as lead or co-lead editor during significant brand events, and maintain a command of brand data and content.
- Ensure daily communication with internal team members, confirm timelines, and establish workload priorities to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality content.
- Maintain a timely and detail-oriented approach to administrative duties, alert your manager when backup coverage is needed, and assist departmental and network editorial colleagues as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and foster a collaborative atmosphere and ensure goals are being met while maintaining quality control.
What You Will Need
- Bachelor's degree in English, communications, journalism, biology, or a related field, with 1-3+ years of editorial experience in healthcare communications or a related industry.
- Strong language skills, including spelling, writing, punctuation, and grammar, as well as computer literacy in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and other digital tools.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, AMA guidelines, FDA pharmaceutical advertising regulations, and general math competency.
- Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong attention to detail, quality control, and process orientation, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
- A commitment to integrity, accountability, and ongoing learning and professional growth, with a strong work ethic and ability to prioritize multiple projects effectively.

Salary
$63,000 to $80,000 annually.
