Production Control Clerk

Reports To: Manager, Department
Supervises: No one directly, provides scheduling direction to Supervisors and Plant Floor
Principal Objective:
Maintain positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, co-workers and supervisors. Responsible for materials management and production activity control functions, ability to command the Plant Floor to assure that the Production Schedule is adhered to.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Input handwritten labor reports into the computer
* Generate production labels
* Perform inventory control transactions
* Perform material counts
* Research and update workorder status through the Scheduling System
* Review daily and weekly plant performance reports
* Prioritize daily production schedule
* Collect, verify completion, combine workorders operations and file
* Reception duties as needed

Desirable Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent is necessary. Organizational skills and the ability to work with little supervision are necessary. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work well with all levels of employees throughout the organization.

Working Knowledge:
Working knowledge of MicroSoft Office products, Excel and E-mail experience necessary.

Physical Demands:
Continuous mental and or visual attention to numbers. Uses computer workstation and other office equipment. Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.; occasional pulling, pushing and bending. Frequent standing and walking from work center to work center.
