Position Description:

Sr. Engineer (fna Equipment Project Manager) (multiple openings) for Entegris Inc., Billerica, MA.

Engage with a variety of Global stakeholders including,Facilities and EHS, Procurement, R&D, Maintenance and Reliability, Controls Engineering and Operations personnel to lead needed capital through the entire process - from justification to commissioning and qualification. Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Maintenance and Reliability (DfMR) principles to optimally design and build necessary equipment. This may include chairing HAZOp assessment teams during design phase; Use a variety of inputs to develop a coherent specification document that clearly defines all aspects of the equipment required to solve the problem; Develop project plans to meet the timelines of the business; Manage projects to stay within timing, budget and quality constraints; Use core project management principles and techniques to report progress to Management team; Use CAD to design equipment/subcomponents and source/create fixtures to enable the assets to be used for a variety of form factors and process flows; Work with Engineers, Maintenance and Reliability personnel and Operations to define PM programs (including spares inventories, frequency and timing, etc) for new assets. May require the use of criticality assessments and FMEA's in concert with the Engineering staff; and Use current floor layouts and new asset specifications to work with stakeholders to optimize the asset within the context of the Manufacturing cell area. Travel required to Entegris facilities in the US or Asia. 10%- 20%

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering and 3 years of experience as a capital equipment manager or design engineer.

Must have 3 years of experience in the following: Machine/Controls Integration or coordinating with controls systems; CAD; and Criticality Assessments and FMEA or Criticality Assessment and pipe Stress Analysis. Must have 1 year of experience in the following: MS Project, MS Office, Jira, Hexagon-Smart Plant Materials, Smart Plant 3D, AutoPLANT V8i, AutoPipe, AutoCAD, IBM SPSS; and International Standards: ASME, API, DIN, NORSOK, NEMA, Shell Design Guidelines. Travel required to Entegris facilities in the US or Asia. 10%- 20%.

Salary: 114,483/year
