Job Description

As Sr. Manager Global Card Benefits, you will support the integration and optimization of card benefits content with a focus on developing and implementing the digital content roadmap and deepening engagement with benefits. You will also lead efforts to layer key Visa capabilities onto the benefit UX to deepen differentiation. As we work to optimize benefit spend, you will participate in the benefit performance evaluation process and help ensure we are assessing benefits across appropriate dimensions and then make recommendations to help us identify highest value opportunities to expand benefit from one region to others, and where to make strategic adjustments.

You will help lead "lift and shift" efforts, to expand top performing benefits across the globe, including contracting, operational readiness, and supporting marketing communications. You will curate digital content leveraging key assets to deliver an engaging and differentiated roadmap.

In some cases, we will elect to pilot a benefit in a specific region - in these cases you will participate to help ensure strong connective tissue throughout the vetting, design, and launch (e.g. value prop, operational design, and contracting) to maintain alignment with global best practices.

You will serve as the relationship manager to key global Visa's benefit providers and key internal business and technology partners, including Visa Legal, Sourcing, Finance, Marketing, and the various technology platforms that enable distribution and key functionality for the benefits content. Thus, the role requires a high degree of cross-functional collaboration and engagement. This position will report to the Head of Global Card Benefits, with exposure to key leaders across the Visa organization. You will be responsible for program dashboards, global QBRs, and participating in the benefits governance board, helping to provide foundational information, insights, and key activity updates with respect to the benefits and partners you work with. You will help elevate the benefits provider voice in the benefits supplier QBRs. You will work closely with the Regional Benefits Leads to help ensure alignment across the parties and ensure key benefit content and information meets the needs of the regions.

Essential Functions

Work with cross-functional partners to scope and then implement the integration of existing technology capabilities into the benefit UX for easy eligibility check, fast access, and easy integrated payment credential Own the digital content distribution strategy for key channels Help facilitate regional benefit expansions to other markets (from evaluating to contracting to operational readiness to marketing communications) Partner with the Marketing and Sponsorship team to identify best opportunities to deepen those partner relationships and add value across the ecosystem Manage benefits that address key emerging and mass segments

  • Help design and implement a roadmap to contextualize benefits
  • Manage relationships with key global benefit providers
  • Assess and showcase performance and opportunities via Program Dashboards (benefit engagement metrics, On-us engagement metrics, NPS, use in RFPs, etc.)
  • Lead Global QBRs for your benefit providers
  • Develop a seasonal calendar and/or plug 'n play menus of curated events & campaigns
  • Manage your programs' economics and budget
  • Create messaging & content bundling strategies to generate buzz and delight cardholders
  • Participate in ongoing roadmap development ideation

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Permanent Authorization to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment for this position. Visa will not sponsor applicants for work visas in connection with this position.

Basic Qualifications

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

  • 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
  • Solid experience (10+ years) in digital content creation, product management, creative development, or project management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent inter-personal skills, team player
  • Good judgment, ability to manage details yet see the bigger picture to ensure solution aligns with over-arching objectives
  • Commitment to quality, detail-orientation
  • Analytic and fact-based consultative discipline
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 159,100.00 to 230,900.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
