Description ED Grant Competition G6 Specialist Description MSG is a bold, innovative, and fast-growing policy research, social sciences, and human. development-focused management consulting firm dedicated to helping government clients achieve and sustain performance excellence. We are seeking a contractor to serve as a Grant Competition G6 Specialist with Government Furnished Equipment and access to the G6 system. The Grant Competition G6 Specialist, will support the Competition Manager (CM) in gathering peer reviewer resumes, managing peer reviewer approval batches, securing peer reviewers, scheduling peer reviewer onboarding training sessions, prepares the grant competition work plan, prepares peer reviewer contractual agreements, prepares peer reviewers instructional materials & coordinates peer reviewers' honorariums. This role is for a contractor employment position. Job Responsibilities: This contractor position requires extensive, diverse, and progressive experience manipulating the G6 system, including direct responsibility for troubleshooting the G6 platform issues related to the peer review panels and applications. The successful candidate to fill this position will possess the following competencies: Knowledge of navigating peer reviewers through the internal user process G6 Knowledge of panel and application assignments Knowledge of Technical Review Form (TRF) loading and saving forms in G6 Demonstrate the ability to set up panel reviewer tiers and add panel reviewers to the grant competition pool in G6. Ability to modify panel reviewers assigned to grant applications in G6. Communicate with our clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives. Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed, and stored on the shared drive. Experience managing the life cycle of in-person, virtual, and hybrid meetings. Prepare meeting/conference planning timelines. Negotiate and secure meeting/conference venues and vendors. Supervise on-site events, staff, and work with hotel staff to ensure delivery of contracted services. Submit monthly project activity reports. Qualification: Three (3) years of experience managing peer reviewers & grant competitions, including direct responsibility for multiple staff and/or a team. Two (2) years of professional experience working in government, non-profit, and/or academic administration or business office settings. Two (2) years working with CVENT, WHOVA, Zoom Gov, Teams & WebEx, a plus. Experience working in government consulting is a plus.
