Job Description: The Program Coordinator will provide essential administrative and logistical support to the ASU Hispanic Research Center (HRC). The position reports to the director of the Hispanic Research Center and works closely and collaboratively with the associate director and other HRC staff, as well as stakeholders to plan, organize, direct, and execute against all the projects the HRC is involved in; identifies and acquires necessary resources and coordinates efforts by all parties to ensure timely delivery of project outcomes in accordance with the HRC’s vision and mission.
The ideal candidate will have strong project management and organizational skills, a track record of handling multiple initiatives, and the ability to work through challenges with persistence. They must be comfortable working both independently and in team settings and be able to effectively balance and focus on objectives in an environment where projects compete for priority.
Salary Range: $56,500 - $60,500; DOE

Working Environment: Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding and manipulating a computer mouse; required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk moderate distances to perform work. Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 25 pounds. Regular activities require the ability to quickly change priorities which may include and/or are subject to resolution of conflicts. May be required to perform tasks in the field within and/or across university campuses.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
