PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

The Parts Coordinator is responsible for ordering, receiving and maintaining inventory to ensure parts are available for scheduled jobs. Ensures all billings are completed according to established standards.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Sources and places orders for special items, requests items numbers as needed, orders items for inventory with consideration for turns and lead times, and places orders on TMT immediately with costs.

Receives and verifies all shipments and enters receiving reports in a timely manner. Places items into inventory locations, relieves inventory as parts are moved to work bays and assigns those parts to jobs.

Provides assistance to customers requesting needed parts, ships products and follows company credit policy guidelines. Ensures corporate guidelines are followed when purchasing parts and other products from selected vendors.

Maintains knowledge of vendor pricing and performance, locates and expedites parts, negotiates pricing and return credits, and coordinates purchasing with other GTTC areas to obtain the best pricing options.

Ensures inventory counts in TMT match physical inventory; investigates any variances, reports findings to the parts manager and applies corrections from findings and discussions.

Participates in periodic inventory processes.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Normally requires a high school education or equivalent and experience with parts management and inventory control.

Proven professional communications, interpersonal, and customer service skills along with "attention to detail" skills to satisfy customer and employee requests. Proven team building skills, the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Proven leadership skills and the ability to achieve results through others.

Ability to use/learn computer skills including: Outlook, Excel, Word and TMT.

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

Occasionally exposed to noisy conditions, working conditions with dust, fumes, chemicals, and may be required to work at varying heights and able to lift and carry 50 pounds.

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
