The Role

Our Energy & Utilities Consulting group is looking for a Senior Consulting Manager to join our journey.

We're looking for Sr. Consulting Manager who can deliver within Cognizant's Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence, which are: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. As a Sr. Consulting Manager (which is a Sr. Manager level position) this means partnering with clients and project stakeholders, colleagues. In addition to enabling consulting excellence through the Five Pillars of Consulting, the specific requirements for this position are below.

Responsibilities:

Ideal candidate would be someone with over 16+ years of Consulting experience in Energy & Utility industry. The candidate should have proven work experience as a DMS System Engineer and will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Distribution Management System (DMS). This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the DMS meets the organization needs and complies with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* System Design and Implementation Design and implement the DMS architecture to meet business requirements.

* Configure and customize the DMS to ensure optimal performance and user experience.

* Integrate the DMS with other enterprise systems such as SCADA, OMS, and GIS. -

* Maintenance and Support Monitor the performance of the DMS and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

* Provide technical support to end-users and resolve any system-related problems.

* Perform regular system updates and maintenance to ensure the DMS remains up-to-date and secure.

* Data Management Oversee data migration and ensure data accuracy and consistency.

* Implement data quality controls and monitoring mechanisms.

* Ensure compliance with data governance policies and procedures.

* Collaboration and Communication

Desired Skillset:

* Ability to lead teams and converse with senior leadership

* Extensive experience in the Energy & Utilities industry

* Distribution Management System (DMS)

* SCADA expertise

* Expertise with OMS

Required Education: Bachelor's degree required; MBA or Masters degree strongly preferred

Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in US without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until May 30h, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $98,853.00 - $158,500.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
