Project Accounting Coordinator (Hybrid)

Join the V3 Team and take your career to the next level! We are looking for an experienced Project Accounting Coordinator for our Indianapolis office. You will play a key role in managing project billings and accounts receivables, while providing accounting support for our Indianapolis office. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage project billing functions across technical groups in V3's Indianapolis office.
  • Prepare final invoice packages and submit them to clients.
  • Coordinate and pursue collection of account receivables.
  • Resolve client billing inquiries and issues promptly while providing excellent client service.
  • Perform project set-up within Deltek Vantagepoint software.
  • Handle project accounting inquiries from clients and staff.
  • Maintain billing folders for projects to retain supporting documentation.
  • Collaborate with the cash receipts team member to reconcile variances in cash application.
  • Assist with other accounting functions as needed.
  • Compile information for external auditors, as required.

Qualifications

  • 3-6 years of project billing experience in the engineering industry.
  • Experience in the collection of accounts receivables.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint software (preferred).
