Overview

TRC Advanced Energy (TRC) is a nationally known energy efficiency consultancy. TRC collaborates with clients to develop and implement market transforming programs and initiatives that promote energy efficiency, renewable energy, and green building in multiple market sectors across the US and around the world. These initiatives reduce energy costs, improve the health and safety conditions of buildings, while also helping the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions. TRC acts nationally to address some of our country's most challenging problems: global climate change and energy independence.

The Software Configuration Analyst I position's primary responsibility is to provide technical software computer support to the Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) programs. This includes all related software needs necessary for implementing, tracking and reporting of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy programs, along with providing occasional support to other Customer Services areas. Need to interact with all members of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy team and coordinate with the Systems and Change organization as necessary in order to ensure that the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) needs of the EERE organization are identified, documented, routed and/or scheduled as necessary, implemented in accordance with requirements, and design and tested. The range of activities for this position may run from providing general assistance to EERE team members regarding routine Microsoft Dynamics assistance, including developing queries and reports, to acting as department lead with other TRC organizations on the development of new components for EERE program(s). This support will include TRC Captures (Microsoft Dynamics CRM) and other systems as required.


Responsibilities

  • Maintaining MS Dynamics CRM database
  • Working with IT on update requests and making sure they are tested in all environments before deploying in production
  • Create customized workflows to meet program/user needs
  • Processing new user role requests
  • Creating and completing CRM record update requests
  • Creating and maintaining user Dashboards as needed to monitor the team pipeline and tracking the monthly/yearly goals
  • Creating and maintaining all metric queries to monitor program Goals
  • Adding and creating new Campaigns
  • Managing Issue Tracker, monthly Deployments, and ensuring deployed items are tested thoroughly
  • Working on Business Requirements Documents for new projects and coordinating with Client and I
  • Ability to keep track of deadlines and forecasts of assignments with moderate scopes of work
  • Responsible to create and distribute all daily, weekly, and monthly reports
  • Responsible for all IT support needed for onboarding new team members
  • User role reviews/updates/requests
  • Creating and managing the following:
    • Dashboards, queries, and reporting
    • Workflows, security roles and business rules
    • New and existing user credential requests
    • Mass editing of data
    • Importing-Exporting data

Qualifications

Desired Skills

  • Basic understanding of energy efficiency industry practices and standards
  • Excellent computer skills including, but not limited to, basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Basic knowledge of programming logic, SQL, Java, Microsoft Dynamics and/or other CRM programs
  • Ability to establish and maintain a professional rapport with client, internal teammates, customers, and trade allies
  • Strong sensitivity to software/database user experience
  • Aptitude to effectively communicate, schedule meetings, and track tasks through completion

Location and Office Requirements

  • The TRC team supporting the PSEG Long Island Contract is located in Melville NY
  • The Melville Office supports an office hoteling environment in which team members can dynamically schedule their use of workspace
  • The position will be working from home and/or from the TRC Melville office as required (currently 2 to 3 days per week)
  • Must be available off hours and weekends to support events on an as-needed basis

Qualifications

  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Entry Level with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Related Field

Salary Range

USD $73,000.00 - USD $88,150.00 /Yr.
