Aseptic Processor 6pm - 6am

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Perform safe and effective set up, operation, and cleaning of the aseptic filling equipment * Conduct the sterilization and manual washing of machine components * Perform routine basic chemical concentration tests * Plan and schedule of fluid transfers and raw lines CIP with HTST and blending employees * Follow and understand production schedule and adjust as needed to avoid down time * Conduct basic troubleshooting of equipment and contact maintenance when necessary * Ensure timely staging of packaging materials * Maintain and monitor quality of product and processes * Ensure accurate and timely monitoring of critical control points * Perform CIP processes for all processing equipment * Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately * Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues * Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements * The requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * High school diploma or equivalent preferred * 2 to 4 years of manufacturing/production experience needed, preferably in the dairy or consumer goods industry * Certification and/or License - may be required during course of employment KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES * Able to follow directions and carry out instructions * Able to effectively work in a team environment * Able to legibly write entries for record keeping * Able to work in a fast-paced environment * Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals * Must be able to read, write and speak English An Equal Opportunity Employer including Disabled/Veterans |
