Job Description

POSITION: SHOP SUPERVISOR

LOCATION: Chatsworth, CA

SALARY RANGE: Salary Rate Based On Qualifications

SHIFT: Day Shift (6:15 am - 5:30 pm, Monday thru Thursday)

Requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:



  • Oversee and monitor production to ensure quality of the product
  • Plan, develop and administer policies, procedures and work instructions.
  • Follow-up, expedite, counsel and train department employees as required to maintain valid production schedules in support of company goals.
  • Report work in progress to 2nd shift supervisor to ensure a smooth transition
  • Assists in the training of new employees and aides employees with questions
  • Complete Production Employee Performance Reviews
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and optimize resource utilization



REQUIREMENTS:



  • Must exhibit good judgment, ingenuity, and personal and professional integrity.
  • Must have prior experience managing personnel and product.
  • 5 years proven experience in supervision of the manufacturing floor.
  • Must possess good communication and hands on leadership skills.
  • Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience in the aerospace related industry (aircraft) a plus.
