Hours and Pay

Compensation: $26-$35 per hour, depending on experience

Shift: 1st shift with overtime as needed and rotating on-call hours

Employment Type: Full-time, direct hire

Daily Tasks and Requirements



  • Travel directly from home to customer sites to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of commercial food equipment, including cooking, food preparation, ware washers, weigh wrap, baking, and refrigeration units
  • Provide exceptional customer service while meeting or exceeding weekly productivity and service goals
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, ensuring all repairs and maintenance are completed efficiently and accurately
  • Attend industry-leading training at Hobart's corporate headquarters in Troy, OH
  • Maintain and utilize company-provided service vehicle, uniforms, and tools
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and company protocols
  • Complete required documentation and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams



Qualifications:



  • Accredited High School Diploma or GED
  • 2-4 years of electrical/mechanical experience in a similar role
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to drive multiple hours daily
  • Willingness to work overtime and on-call hours as needed
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first attitude
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, climb ladders, kneel, squat, bend, and work in confined spaces
  • Comfortable with extensive walking and driving each day
  • Flexibility to travel up to 50% of the time and work in various environments, including commercial kitchens
