The primary responsibility of this role is to help execute the global marketing and communications plans for the Aptar CSP business portfolio across the Pharma and Food Protection business units. This role supports the Director, Strategic Marketing, Global Communications, and Market Intelligence in the implementation of global marketing and communication strategies for CSP's pharma and food segments, providing broad-spectrum operational marketing support and assuring flawless tactical execution of marketing activities to support the company's strategic plan.
Content Creation:
o Write content for press releases, websites, brochures, marketing emails, promotional copy for events, presentation abstracts, scripts, social media, etc.
o Provide editorial and copyediting support for scientific papers produced by the technical team.
o Create PowerPoint presentations, including graphic support, content building, and working with the sales and technical teams to convert their ideas into tangible assets
o Provide basic graphic design support for creation of brochures, posters, PowerPoint presentations, simple trade show collateral (i.e. signage, postcards):
Event Coordination:
o Execute trade show, conference, and webinar annual plans (approximately 15+ per year), including identifying sponsorship and speaking opportunities for CSP, key message development, booth design, sponsorship, promotion and product display execution, ensuring presence meets global Aptar standards. This includes researching pricing, coordinating with the commercial team on desired messaging and collateral, obtaining samples and displays, executing bookings and rentals, managing trade show calendar/schedules, and serving as primary point of contact for all events.
o Support integration of CSP into regional or global shows led by Aptar Pharma
o Collect event feedback, report results, and utilize information to help inform future event participation
o Track trade show expenditures and calculate ROI
o Manage sample requests
Project Management:
o Create and deliver marketing projects and tools to support annual marketing communications plans. Projects could include:
* Product launches, development of impactful sales tools such as selling presentations, brochures, videos, signage, events such as innovation days and more
* Coordinate translation of marketing materials to other languages as needed for support in global regions
* Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to manage marketing projects
* Support Aptar, Aptar Pharma, and Aptar Closures global initiatives as appropriate (sustainability, customer satisfaction surveys, etc.)
* Work with commercial teams to get permission to promote use of Aptar CSP's technology in commercialized products
Trademark and Asset Management:
o Manage trademark portfolio in coordination with trademark attorneys
o Assure proper usage of trade names and graphics
o Coordinate with brands to encourage and support use of CSP assets in their B2C marketing
o Track external brand utilization of CSP trademarks and assets
Other Responsibilities:
o Track lead acquisition and conversion stats and assess ROI in collaboration with strategic marketing director
o Create and manage marketing reports and dashboards to track performance metrics
o Support budget management and track marketing expenses
o Assist with website, social media, and email marketing activities as needed
o Maintain and update the marketing calendar to ensure timely delivery of projects
Qualifications:
Required:
o Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field
o 5-7 years experience working in an operational marketing role with tactical experience aligned with the job responsibilities outlined
o Excellent writing and editing skills with experience producing content such as press releases, brochures, articles, case studies, white papers, etc.
o Experience managing trade show execution, preferably on a global scale
o Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with strong PowerPoint skills
o Basic page layout/graphic design and photo editing skills with proficiency using design software such as InDesign and PhotoShop (Illustrator preferred, but not required)
o Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
o Must be self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
o Ability to multitask/project manage multiple initiatives and timelines simultaneously
o Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team
o Strong time management skills
Preferred:
o Marketing and communications experience in the pharma/medical device market or other B2B industry
o Experience with website platforms such as Wordpress
o Experience with email marketing platforms
o Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM
o Experience working in a multicultural/multinational business unit environment
o Ability to work outside normal working hours on a periodic basis in order to support global partners
