Advanced Engineering Technician - RF Focus (All Shifts | Contract-to-Hire)
$33.93 per hour (2nd shift add 10% shift differential 3rd shift adds 15%)

Job Summary:
Acara Solutions and our client in Scottsdale, AZ are seeking
Advanced Engineering Technicians with experience in
Radio Frequency (RF) systems to join a cutting-edge defense and aerospace environment. This is a
contract-to-hire opportunity across all shifts.
What You'll Do:

Support engineering teams in the
design, integration, and testing of RF and electromechanical systems, including laser/light transmission devices and specialized test equipment. -
Construct, modify, debug, troubleshoot, and test RF circuits and components, including filters, amplifiers, and antennas. -
Perform
RF signal integrity testing using spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes. -
Interpret and work from engineering drawings, schematics, and RF block diagrams. -
Calibrate and maintain RF test setups and support
EMI/EMC testing and shielding validation. -
Assist in the
fabrication and assembly of prototype hardware, including RF enclosures and coaxial assemblies. -
Conduct and document statistically based experiments to characterize RF performance and process variability. -
Propose and implement RF-related
process improvements and troubleshoot performance issues. -
Design basic tooling and RF test fixtures to support unique development tasks.
Qualifications:
-
3+ years of hands-on experience with RF systems or electromechanical hardware in a prototype or lab setting. -
Proficient with RF test equipment and diagnostic tools. -
Experience interpreting engineering documentation and schematics. -
Comfortable working cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, and Production teams.
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the use of fabrication tools

- Ability to fabricate complex hardware
