Schedule:Monday - Friday; 8:00AM - 5:00PM

Summary:
The Executive Assistant to President - MedStar Family Choice provides high-level administrative, operational, and project management support to the President & COO, Chief Nursing Officer, and other senior leaders. This role is responsible for overseeing administrative functions across departments, managing staff, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, and serving as a key liaison with internal stakeholders and external partners. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position plays a critical role in driving operational efficiency, supporting executive leadership, and contributing to strategic goals across the Health Plan.

Primary Duties:

* Provides high-level administrative and operational support to the President & COO, Chief Nursing Officer, and other senior executives within the Health Plan, including preparation of confidential reports and coordination of strategic initiatives.

* Oversees administrative staff management, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, scheduling, and policy compliance to ensure operational efficiency across departments.

* Manages project coordination and administrative oversight for key Health Plan initiatives, including internal systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, Talent Manager), employee engagement surveys, and executive-level reporting.

* Serves as Project Management Administrator and liaison across departments, vendors, and external partners, ensuring timely completion of goals and effective communication.

* Supports the development, planning, and coordination of meetings, retreats, training workshops, and other executive-level events, including agenda setting and logistics.

* Oversees budget and financial management for administrative functions, including budget planning, monitoring, and reporting to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

* Acts as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to decision-making, staffing strategies, and engagement initiatives; leads or sponsors committees such as the Associate Engagement Committee.


Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree

Equivalent combination of education/training and experience may be considered for substitution.

* Administrative experience at senior management level, preferably in a healthcare setting, including project management, staffing, budgeting and employee relations.

* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with sound judgement and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high pressure work environment.

* Significant aptitude in independent and proactive problem solving and effective and efficient utilization of resources.

* Effective service-oriented approach.

* Strong written and verbal communication, computer, analytical, and organizational skills.

* Ability to work independently and as a member of the team, working effectively with all levels of the organization, from senior executive level executives, senior leadership team to associates.

* Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, PeopleSoft, Talent Manager, and other IT related systems.

This position has a hiring range of $80,995 - $152,027
