Salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Estimated annual base pay: $142,000 (minimum) - $177,500 (midpoint) - $213,000 (maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're a Software or Electrical Engineer with expertise in FPGA designs, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

Software or Electrical Engineer will develop FPGA designs, utilizing both hardware and software skills honed over time spent working on FPGA implementations. FPGA engineers perform work requiring the application of standard engineering principles, practices, procedures and evaluation criteria in conjunction with appropriate software and hardware compliance standards. Responsibilities may include design solutions/implementation, test creation/execution and/or general support.

What you will be doing...

  • Design, support, and test complex, integrated systems and sub-systems.

  • Expert-level knowledge of software development tools and processes, including editors, compilers, debuggers, code analyzers, testing tools, and version control systems.

  • Specialized expertise in specific fields, tools, or product families, or broad, internally recognized knowledge.

  • Develop and execute test plans, troubleshoot technical problems, and mentor others.

  • Lead research assignments requiring innovative techniques and solutions.

  • Provide effort estimates, define project tasks, and contribute to technical writing and cost estimation for proposals.

  • Facilitate technical reviews, assess business opportunities, and oversee moderate to high complexity engineering changes.

  • Participates in strategic planning, continuous improvement initiatives, and customer/industry presentations.

  • Expert knowledge in FPGA/SoC design, software/hardware integration, and engineering lifecycles.

  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, with a focus on mentoring and process improvement.

What we are looking for...

  • US - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (BS) required

  • Over 8 years of professional experience in software and electrical engineering.

  • Proven technical leadership or team lead experience.

  • Strong background in software development and FPGA-based electrical design.

  • Expertise in FPGA simulations and timing closure concepts.

  • Proficient with FPGA tools such as Quartus/Vivado and ModelSim/QuestaSim.

  • Experience with Intel (Altera) and/or AMD (Xilinx) FPGA devices.

  • Familiarity with SCM tools like GIT and CICD tools such as Jenkins.
