Position Summary:

The Marketing Specialist will work with a multifunctional team of creative, marketing, sales team and developers, to execute marketing programs, design requests, promotions, events and other activities to support Vallen initiatives.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

General Marketing:

  • Interface directly with Vallen Suppliers to coordinate asset trafficking and execute marketing activities such as email campaigns, landing pages, digital advertising, and other partnership activity
  • Coordinate and track supplier invoicing, payments, and CoOp marketing budgets for Vallen suppliers, facilitating cooperative marketing programs and supporting effective budget management through strong organization and cross-functional communication.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to gather key information and insights, identify campaign themes, and develop targeted marketing assets such as sales collateral, emails, and other supporting materials to execute impactful marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate approval, ordering, and production of Vallen merchandise, interface with vendor as needed
  • Coordinate email marketing: creative, list segmentation, and analytics/reporting
  • Assist with website and landing page updates
  • Organize, update, and maintain marketing collateral, including one-sheets, sales presentations, marketing recaps, programming calendars, etc.
  • Support marketing team in daily administrative tasks such as, but not limited to, asset management/archiving, premium order fulfillment/inventory maintenance, general spreadsheet upkeep, etc.
  • Coordinate with other departments on the creation and maintenance of marketing and sales materials
  • All other miscellaneous marketing support

Sales Support

  • Partner with sales leaders to understand industry needs, align on priorities, and deliver customized marketing programs and campaigns for sales growth
  • Support product information management projects
  • Organize, update, and maintain our sales enablement platform
  • Be a reliable Sales support resource to manage, develop and distribute marketing collateral
  • Assist with the creation and execution of field sales marketing requests

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 2-3 years of applicable experience. Applicable experience should include:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat) is a plus
  • Proficiency with MS-Office suite of applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with suppliers and other members of marketing and sales teams; work cross-functionally with all other departments as needed
