Regulated Manufacturing Technician

About the Role: We are looking for a Manufacturing Operator/Tech to join our PharmBIO team to support our commercial manufacturing. Primary responsibilities will include work in a cleanroom environment, operate all processing equipment to support production, perform data entry and systems transactions, follow detailed procedures; provide process feedback to the engineering team; provide input to standard operating procedures and understand and follow safety requirements / guidelines. This individual must support and practice the Gore Culture. Hours for this opportunity are 11pm - 7:30 am Monday-Friday.

This role will be located at our facility in Elkton, Maryland.

Pay and Benefits:



  • $19.00 - $32.00per hour
  • This role is eligible for an additional $2/hour shift differential pay for evening, night, and weekend shifts (in California, the shift differential pay is $2.40/hour).

Responsibilities:



  • Work within regulated cleanroom environment
  • Learn support and practice Gore culture
  • Collaborate and communicate with cross functional group, including but not limited to, Shop, EH&S and Process Engineering
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities
  • Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Follow all clean concept guidelines and procedures
  • Perform Inspection and in process testing
  • Perform data collection/entry
  • Manufacture product and complete documentation with timeliness and accuracy
  • Cross train on multiple pieces of equipment


Required Qualifications:



  • Experience setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting compression molding equipment
  • Experience with regulated process documentation and GMPs (e.g., batch records, process logs)
  • Demonstrated effective verbal communication skills and effective written communication skills
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to learn more advanced systems, manage computer files, examples: Outlook, Excel, & Word, JMP, etc
  • Proven attention to detail and ability to focus on primary commitments by being highly organized and managing multiple priorities
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to effectively work independently, as well as within a team environment, with the ability to positively influence team members
  • Demonstrated ability to cross-train, performing a variety of tasks and driving personal development plan
  • Demonstrated ability to rigorously adhere to SOP's and written work instructions with demonstrated ability to learn new procedure and techniques quickly
  • Ability to lift up to 35lbs, bend, sit, or stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime and receive training on other shifts to support business needs



Desired Qualifications:



  • Previous experience in R&D production and/or process development with the ability topartner with engineering on process improvement
  • Experience transacting in an MES system (Camstar/Compass preferred)
