Responsible for the day-to-day operations of division's measurement program. Maintain good working relationships with EOG production, marketing, accounting groups, division purchasers, and measurement vendors. Provide employee training in all areas of measurement. Evaluate and implement current technologies for measurement improvement. Monitor and resolve division volume discrepancies between source and outlet measurement points. Maintain cost controls of measurement program.
Daily responsibilities include assisting in the design and scheduling of new well installations for a very active metering program, setting up measurement points in various EOG systems (Cygnet, Autosol, Flowcal) (polling, volumes and pressures, system balances), and monitoring plunger wells for measurement issues.
Monthly responsibilities include coordinating witnessing of purchaser tests and calibrations, scheduling maintenance of EOG operated meters, collect EFMs missing data, reconciling databases (Cygnet, Autosol, Flowcal), monitoring production of certain outside operated wells, troubleshooting measurement malfunctions and balancing discrepancies in EOG systems, and communications with Integrators. Liquid measurement experience preferred.


JOB REQUIREMENTS

A high school diploma or G.E.D. is required along with a minimum of 5 years" related oil & gas experience. Experience in oil & gas liquids measurement is strongly preferred. Ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of Emerson flow computers ROC 800, ROC 800L, FB1200, Emerson 107 and Totalflow X and RMC flow computers, experience with Truck LACT and Pipeline LACTs, and Gas measurement tec
Candidate should be up to date with all BLM regulations. Previous experience should include managing Midstream and production measurement stations. Strong supervisory and communication skills are required.
Good driving record required.
Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
