We're looking for a reliable Yard Driver/Forklift Operator to keep operations moving smoothly at a leading manufacturing facility near Ayer, MA. Hours and Pay

Shift: 1st shift, Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Saturday and overtime as needed)

Pay: $28.00 per hour

Employment Type: Direct hire

Daily Tasks and Requirements



  • Operate the yard truck to move trailers for daily loading and unloading activities
  • Drive forklift to backfill warehouse loaders as needed, ensuring smooth workflow
  • Identify and match trailer inventory accurately to carrier owners
  • Coordinate with shipping, receiving, recycling, and road carriers on trailer door assignments
  • Follow all company policies, including Quality and Food Safety, GMP, and general work rules
  • Maintain strict adherence to yard truck and forklift safety guidelines
  • Complete and submit all required paperwork promptly and accurately
  • Collaborate effectively with team members across departments to meet daily goals
  • Successfully complete and maintain a Forklift Certification Program upon hire

Qualifications



  • A valid CDL license is a must
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience operating yard trucks and forklifts in a warehouse setting
  • Familiarity with loading/unloading, scanning products, and completing warehouse documentation
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to stay alert and safety-conscious in a dynamic work environment
