Hours and Pay

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (1st shift)

Pay: $130,000 to $150,000 annually, depending on experience

Position Overview

As the Senior Supply Chain Manager, you will own the end-to-end supply chain process-from material planning and procurement strategy to supplier management and inventory control. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will lead a team of 5 to 8 professionals, champion continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with ISO/AS9100 standards. Your role is critical in delivering cost-effective, timely, and quality supply solutions that align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities



  • Develop and execute strategic material planning and scheduling to meet production and customer demand
  • Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure top-tier supplier performance
  • Lead and mentor a team of supply chain and procurement professionals to foster accountability and growth
  • Optimize inventory turnover and working capital while guaranteeing material availability
  • Oversee purchasing functions for materials, MRO, consumables, and non-inventory items with strict adherence to policies
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives through supplier consolidation and process improvements
  • Identify and mitigate risks to supply continuity, quality, and cost with contingency planning
  • Champion process improvements using KPIs and root cause analysis
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9000, AS9100, and internal audit requirements



Required Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive supply chain and purchasing experience in manufacturing, including 2+ years in leadership
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
  • Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (AS4000 preferred)
  • Proven negotiation skills and ability to analyze cost structures
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and forecast supply needs
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds as required
