We have an opportunity for a Materials Analyst to join our operations team in Conroe, TX. This facility designs and manufactures filtration solutions for the oil & gas industry. You will be responsible for the development and sustainment of the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) program at this high-volume, Lean manufacturing plant. In this highly collaborative position, you'll partner with operations, purchasing, warehouse, Lean, engineering, and materials personnel. ** You will work on-site in Conroe, TX, 5 days/week for this position. **

You will:

  • Ensure adherence to the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) processes and procedures to optimize inventory management, reduce waste, and streamline material flow.
  • Own the integrity of the PFEP database and drive PFEP accuracy through audits and root cause analysis.
  • Perform Pareto analyses to drive action for all process exceptions.
  • Support and drive continuous improvement and Lean supply chain initiatives.
  • Develop and improve the connectivity between PFEP and material procurement by analyzing current spending and identify opportunities for supplier improvements.
  • Support the development and management of a supermarket layout to optimize pick time.
  • Drive inventory to target levels and increase inventory turns.

Key Qualifications:

  • Have earned a bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.). Degrees in supply chain management, materials management, logistics, engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Have 3+ years of experience in material planning, inventory control, production control, or material flow, preferably within a high volume, dynamic, seasonal manufacturing environment.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Highly analytical with demonstrated use of scientific thinking.
  • Willingness to learn new areas and take on new challenges, creative problem-solving capability, and leadership potential.
  • Experience utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software preferred.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with creating continuous flow, 5S, and/or Lean manufacturing techniques preferred.

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $71000 - $131800 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with a demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs. This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as an annual incentive bonus.
