No Beginning Review Date: 06/08/2025 About JMU: Mission General Information: The Shenandoah Valley Child Development Clinic is an interdisciplinary clinic that has been providing services to children and families from birth to 21 years of age for more than 40 years. The CDC is a grant funded program through the VA Department of Health. The clinic addresses concerns regarding education, behavior, health, emotions, development, and the parent-child relationship. We serve a broad range of clients that include foster children and high-risk families. Our primary goal is to ensure children receive the support and evaluation services needed to help them maximize their potential. The clinic's hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Duties and Responsibilities: The Clinical Psychologist is expected to conduct psychological assessments across the developmental continuum, which include: gathering pertinent cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral information through record review and interviews with parents; administering, scoring, interpreting standardized and informal instruments, and writing comprehensive psychological reports. Qualifications: * Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from an accredited college or university.
