Hardware Research Intern - Fremont, CA

What you will accomplish together with us:

• Design and develop 3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings.
• Assemble, align, and integrate precision optical and mechanical components.
• Prepare technical documentation, including assembly instructions, test reports, and design summaries.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary engineering team to refine designs and troubleshoot challenges.

What will convince us:

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Physics, or closely related program (undergraduate or graduate level).
• Proficient in mechanical CAD, particularly SolidWorks.
• Practical experience with 3D printing technologies and processes.
• Direct experience working with lasers, optical systems, and precision mechanical components.
• Critical appreciation of Thorlabs Lab Snacks.

Compensation for this position will be a base salary of 28.00/hour.
