We're looking for a Habilitative Services Technician to join our team!

As a Habilitative Services Technician, you'll coordinate services to help the people we serve keep, learn, or improve important daily living skills. Your responsibilities will include training staff in behavior modification techniques and to assist with developing new programs.

What YOU'LL Do:



  • Assist and participate in the team process developing behavioral objectives and care plans designed to accomplish skill building objectives.
  • Monitor the quality of services delivered to persons served, providing habilitative support where necessary.
  • Document individual progress, recommend program modifications and maintain records for each person in service.
  • Ensure reports and other related documents are accurate and timely.


SCHEDULE: Days, 40/hrs week, other hours based on the needs of the department.

Requirements

What YOU'LL Need:



  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking capability
  • Knowledge of habilitative services for individuals with developmental disabilities
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
  • Training in Occupational, Physical Therapy, CPR and First Aid are required.
