Responsibilities: Our Plover production plant in Wisconsin is hiring a seasonal employee to work in our Shipping Department as Shipping Clerk from early-June through late November. Essential Functions:
- Print new orders each morning
- Update changed ship dates in SAP and notify 3 Party Logistics group
- Check In/Out drivers, distribute loading documents to drivers for loads to be picked up
- Ship confirms stock/ M&S items/empty can loads in Brye and SAP
- Create STOs to bring empty cans/M&S items/stock into Plover
- Receive Chep/M&S items/brite/finished goods/empty cans into SAP and BRYE
- Handle USDA shipment compliance, ASN creation, and documentation in dedicated site and emails
- Answer emails/phone calls/instant messages related to shipping/receiving
- Direct drivers to correct doors/location
- Coordinate scheduling of appointments
- Change orders/tags for forklift/inventory staff in Brye and SAP
- Compare orders to availability in Brye and SAP, alert label lines to shortages
- Reconcile inventory movements through Brye and SAP
- Move M&S items out of Quality Status/coordinate with QA department to ensure inventory and incubation holds are accurate
- File/fax/copy as needed
- Maintain/distribute Daily and Weekly shipping/receiving information in Excel spreadsheets
- Clean restroom/breakroom/work area
- Assist Distribution Coordinator as needed
- Assist Warehouse Shipping Supervisor as needed
- Cross train in office functions and jobs as needed
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: Required Skills and abilities:
- Proficiency in Excel, Access, and Outlook
- Good math skills
- Proficiency in telephone and computer skills
- Neat and accurate record keeping skills
- Very good organizational skills
- Inventory Management systems experience preferred (SAP)
- Proficiency with computers, calculator, and telephone
- Ability to understand and follow instructions with the minimum of supervision
- Ability to multi-task
- Work cooperatively with co-workers
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to a given workload
- Excellent communication skills
- Essential role in supporting the accuracy and timeliness of shipping processes and procedures during the very busy and heavy shipping period.
