Position Overview: The Neenah Police Department is seeking a part-time, Fleet Administrator/Maintenance Specialist who will manage the maintenance schedules of the 33 police department vehicles. The ideal candidate would be knowledgeable about vehicle equipment, systems, technology and installation principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage maintenance, repair, and readiness of police vehicles and equipment.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections, road tests, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Coordinate new vehicle setup and fleet changeovers.
  • Maintain records of repairs, warranties, inventory, and budgets.
  • Assist with procurement, shipment, and disposal of vehicles and supplies.
  • Support garage upkeep and collaborate with department staff.
  • Provide reports and assist with related administrative tasks.
Job Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical school certificate or Associates' Degree preferred.
  • 2 years of administrative or related fleet or law enforcement experience preferred.
  • Valid Wisconsin driver's license or ability to obtain a Wisconsin driver's license within six months of hire if current license is from out of state.
Schedule & Pay :
The work schedule is flexible and about 20 hours a week. Hours would depend on tasks, assignments and duties. Typically, hours would be within Monday through Friday period with the majority in normal business hours of 8am to 5pm. Starting rate of pay is $25.19 per hour.

The City of Neenah offers paid sick, vacation, and holiday pay for part time employees.
