Finance Intern - Salt Lake City, UT

Albany Engineered Composites (AEC) is one of the most technically advanced designers and manufacturers of lightweight composite aerospace structures, subassemblies and components. For more than 50 years, AEC has innovated advanced composite solutions for defense and commercial industries in applications from large commercial transports to fighter jets and commercial and military rotorcraft.

Our composite design and fabrication expertise can be found on many defense programs. AEC provides a wide range of products including complete structural assemblies, flight critical components, primary and secondary structural elements for platforms such as the F-35 Lightning II, the CH-53K Heavy-lift Helicopter and the Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM).

AEC SLC is supportive of student education through experiential development. We are currently looking for an intern to support various improvement projects in our Finance department.

Job Responsibilities

• General Support




• Assist with managing Ops Finance program reviews and reporting
• Support with KPI reports and reviews for monthly metrics
• Assist with proposals and quotes.




• Rate Support




• Download and organize indirect budget spends from various groups.
• Help with weekly meetings with this group




• EAC Quarterly work




• Aid with monthly program spend and WIP reports
• Track schedules and ensure adherence to contractual requirements.
• Support with data management
• Assist with EAC presentations




• Administrative Duties




• Help maintain EAC files and master records
• Provide support for timekeeping floor checks and customer service activities.
• Assist in closing out activities for completed contracts.




• Special Projects
• Assist in the conversion of EAC process to automated workflows

Qualifications:

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business related field.
• Contracts certificate a plus
• GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to complete multiple projects on schedule with minimal supervision
• Must be able to commute to the facility .
