The Automation Operator 1 is responsible for executing routine oilfield automation tasks with direct supervision, collaborating cross-functionally to implement and maintain automation equipment, ensuring adherence to specifications and industry standards. The role develops basic skills/awareness to understand production operations and strategies, contributes to project scope development, supports contractor oversight, and maintains automation equipment, emphasizing safety and efficiency. The role possesses the authority to halt work in unsafe conditions, fostering a secure working environment. The role involves troubleshooting and resolving routine automation issues, promoting seamless technology integration in the oilfield. The role also plays a vital part in recognizing, analyzing, and addressing automation challenges in both emergency and non-emergency situations. * Performs routine oilfield automation tasks under direct supervision, troubleshooting and providing assistance in the optimization of oilfield automation and communication systems.
