Job Description

The Liquids Lead position provides daily tactical leadership of overall Liquid production and ensures that all Service, Quality, and Food Safety requirements are met. The Lead will ensure all CCPs, Regulatory Requirements, and MES/Documentation requirements are met for all Liquid production. This position will serve as a backup for the Production Supervisor and Logistics Coordinator in their absence. This position reports to the Production Supervisor and has no direct reports.


  • Ensure all SOP and SSOP's are being performed properly
  • Assist Supervisor and Logistics team with all CCP documentation as relates
  • to storage, production, raw material receiving, and shipping
  • Keep all daily storage logs maintained and current
  • Assist Blend Tech's with staging and lot code traceability
  • Ensure all COA's are received and filed on the "Toddy drive" for all incoming
  • raw materials (including internal coffees and teas).
  • Ensure all warehousing and finished goods storage areas are maintained
  • Serve as back up to the Supervisor, communicating work load or changes to floor
  • Personnel and production schedules
  • Serve as back up to the Logistics Coordinator
  • Take an active role in the shift transition period to ensure smooth and efficient transition of shift personnel
  • Work as a daily liaison between Purchasing, Logistics, and Liquid dept. to ensure
  • packaging and ingredients are on hand when needed
  • Coordinate movements between off-site warehouse storage locations and on-hand
  • materials needed for daily production
  • Assist in all year-end and period inventory duties
  • Develop documentation and assist in the training of all job functions related to Liquid Manufacturing
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Qualification

  • Very good communication skills
  • HACCP/Food Safety experience and GMP knowledge (preferred)
  • Ability to make sound decisions in a fast pace environment.
  • Working Knowledge of MS Office Applications
  • Work/communicate cross-functionally
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to stand and walk a minimum of 8 hours per shift
  • Ability to lift, carry, or move light to heavy weights with or without help up to 75 lbs
  • Good hand-eye coordination, good arm, hand, and finger dexterity
  • Ability to repeatedly use hands for simple grasping, and manipulating materials
  • Ability to detect noises, feel objects, tools or controls, twist their bodies, reach,
  • maintain balance, stoop, crouch, and effectively work with co-workers
  • Ability to operate Material Handling Equipment
