We are currently seeking a Carpenter at our Cudahy, WI plant located approximately 5 miles south of Milwaukee. This position is responsible for performing carpentry duties necessary to construct and maintain structural woodwork and equipment. This role provides a tremendous opportunity to work within a world-class operation that provides an opportunity for future career growth. This is a 1st shift position from 7:00 - 3:00pm, Monday through Friday. Responsibilities: Plans and cuts material for construction or repair of structural woodwork and equipment. Makes and repairs structures such as roofs, benches, counters, and other building framework. Insulate wall partitions, coiling or other structures. Uses hand and power tools as well as measuring devices. Assembles and installs prefabricated steel office partitions. We offer excellent salary compensation, and a comprehensive benefits package. High School Diploma or equivalent Journeyman status required through a State Indentured Apprenticeship or 8 years of direct on the job experience. Skills Ability to read and understand blueprints. Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong analytical skills to analyze and resolve difficult problems effectively and implement long term solutions.
