Industrial Electrician Supervisor
Description Supervises the full range of tasks required to operate, install, maintain, modify, troubleshoot, and repair industrial-type electrical systems, commercial kitchen equipment, controls, and other complex equipment.
Qualifications Required
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or possession of a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) certificate.
- Four (4) years of experience in the electrical trade, one (1) year of which shall have been in a lead role.
- Must possess a valid Commonwealth of Virginia master electrician's license.
- Possession of an appropriate, valid motor vehicle operator's license with a good driving record.
- Knowledge of the methods and skills in the use of equipment, materials, and tools appropriate for installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical activities.
- Capability to establish methods, procedures, deadlines, and priorities for assigned workers and perform employee evaluations, as required.
- Knowledge of common hazards and necessary safety precautions.
- Knowledge of local, state, and national codes; skill in performing welding and sheet metal work.
- Facility in reading, interpreting, and explaining instructions, diagrams, sketches, blueprints, and manufacturers' manuals.
- Ability to estimate time and material needs, determine when the repair is not economically practical, and perform routine tasks and arithmetic computations.
- Ability to utilize computer and basic software programs software.
Salary Range $59,527 - $100,483
