24785BR Industrial Electrician Supervisor Edison Support Center Description Supervises the full range of tasks required to operate, install, maintain, modify, troubleshoot, and repair industrial-type electrical systems, commercial kitchen equipment, controls, and other complex equipment. Qualifications Required Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or possession of a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) certificate. Four (4) years of experience in the electrical trade, one (1) year of which shall have been in a lead role. Must possess a valid Commonwealth of Virginia master electrician's license. Possession of an appropriate, valid motor vehicle operator's license with a good driving record. Knowledge of the methods and skills in the use of equipment, materials, and tools appropriate for installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical activities. Capability to establish methods, procedures, deadlines, and priorities for assigned workers and perform employee evaluations, as required. Knowledge of common hazards and necessary safety precautions. Knowledge of local, state, and national codes; skill in performing welding and sheet metal work. Facility in reading, interpreting, and explaining instructions, diagrams, sketches, blueprints, and manufacturers' manuals. Ability to estimate time and material needs, determine when the repair is not economically practical, and perform routine tasks and arithmetic computations. Ability to utilize computer and basic software programs software.
