Per-Diem Occupational Health Nurse (RN) Category: Healthcare Employment Type: Contract Reference: BH-385078 Occupational Health Registered Nurse needed for a per-diem contract opportunity with Yoh's very well-known client located in Los Angeles, CA 90027 with flexibility to also work in Glendale. Clinic offers occupational, primary, and preventative care for employees (similar to urgent care but not as fast-paced and only seeing adults). As-needed schedule only to cover PTO and call-outs. - Need 9:00am to 5:00pm - May 9, 12, 14, 15, 16, 21, 30 and June 13 with more shifts coming up sporadically. Top Skills You Should Possess: Active/unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of California Minimum (3) years' experience as a Nurse Prefer previous experience in: Occupational Health, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Primary Care, School Nursing, Corrections, and/or Family Medicine type setting Recent clinical experience and strong first-aid skills Professional, dedicated, friendly, and helpful employee What You'll Be Doing: Nursing assessment, triage, treatment, and education for employee health concerns Provide wellness materials/information Administer first-aid Provide medical testing such as: EKGs, pulmonary function, blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, vision and hearing screening and perform limited interpretation of tests Assist First Responders in medical emergencies What You Need to Bring to the Table: Must be confident working autonomously, critical thinking, clinical assessments, and working well in emergency situations Passionate about promoting health and wellbeing in the workplace BLS certified Proof of MMR immunizations/titers What's In It For You?
