The Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP) Executive Assistant (EA) assists CSSP Service Area Leadership by directly supporting the Service Area Chief, CSSP Director, and functional area leads. This position involves managing CSSP Leadership's calendars, scheduling all service area-wide meetings, tracking CSSP deliverables and projects, facilitating scrum events, taking meeting notes, and more. This position involves coaching, Jira backlog grooming, facilitating scrum events, coordinating events/ meetings between multiple teams, and more. This position will also reflect the duties of a Scrum Master (SM) and a technical Project Manager (PM).

Each CSSP team within the CSSP has a GOV and Technical Lead. The CSSP EA will directly interact with these leads for project and deliverable tracking, risk tracking, and issue escalation.

The successful candidate understands cybersecurity fundamentals and operations. They will have a strong understanding of SAFe methodology and Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, etc.) as well as Project Management (PM) experience. They will have excellent written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills:
* Proficiency with SaFE methodology and Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
* Proficiency with Microsoft apps, especially Outlook and Teams.
* Project Management experience with a background displaying knowledge of cybersecurity tools and CSSP (or SOC) processes.
* Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to communicate in both written and verbal format to stakeholders, tailored at either non-technical or technical levels as required.
* Ability to organize and coach leadership and their team members to promote autonomy and success. Shown success in tracking project impediments, helping manage injects, facilitating scrum events such as sprint planning and review, and driving efficiency via limiting distractions and outside interference.
* Skill in providing informed opinions and feedback to leadership within a fast-paced environment.
* Ensures problems are communicated from teams up to leadership, and vice versa.
* Analyzes, tracks, and directs own workflow to ensure efforts are placed on projects that will improve CSSP workflow and services. Remains self-disciplined and ensures timely completion of tasks.

Highly Desired Skills:
* Knowledge of DoD Cyber policies and compliance guidelines, including CJCSM 6510.01B Cyber Incident Handling Program
* Working knowledge of common DCO tools
* Knowledge of the different classes of attacks (MITRE ATT&CK Matrix) and knowledge of general attack stages (cyber kill chain).
* Knowledge of the following concepts: Network and host-based activity correlation in tools such as Splunk, Elastic, and Microsoft Sentinel; Full packet capture (PCAP) analysis; IDS/IPS solutions; Basic digital forensics concepts and tools

Salary: 70k+ to align with education and experience

Schedule: Up to 5 days on site
