The Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP) Executive Assistant (EA) assists CSSP Service Area Leadership by directly supporting the Service Area Chief, CSSP Director, and functional area leads. This position involves managing CSSP Leadership's calendars, scheduling all service area-wide meetings, tracking CSSP deliverables and projects, facilitating scrum events, taking meeting notes, and more. This position involves coaching, Jira backlog grooming, facilitating scrum events, coordinating events/ meetings between multiple teams, and more. This position will also reflect the duties of a Scrum Master (SM) and a technical Project Manager (PM). Each CSSP team within the CSSP has a GOV and Technical Lead. The CSSP EA will directly interact with these leads for project and deliverable tracking, risk tracking, and issue escalation. The successful candidate understands cybersecurity fundamentals and operations. They will have a strong understanding of SAFe methodology and Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, etc.) as well as Project Management (PM) experience. They will have excellent written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
