An Electro-Mechanical Technician job is available with a service client in Mountville, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance DMS, Conveyor, Scanners, GTP stations, Case sealers, trailer loaders, poly bag machine, Cardboard bailer boxing machines. We're looking for someone that has at least 1-2 years' experience at a distribution center with an automated material handling system with solid mechanical/electrical skills, and troubleshooting experience with control devices i.e., photo eyes, scanners, encoders, proximity switches, motor controllers, network devices, etc. 1st shift 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM position. Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Repair and maintenance of MHE including belt tracking, component adjustment/replacement, component lubrication, etc.
* Completes preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
* Create and close work orders into asset management system with appropriate data to include labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
* Troubleshoot conveyance problems and understand resources needed to resolve them.
* Locate and track spare parts from inventory.
* Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organizations.
Qualifications:
* HS diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree or vocational technical training preferred. Specialized skill training/certification preferred.
* Senior level 1-2 years" experience in mechanical knowledge of a technical or specialty area Mechanical maintenance experience with conveyor equipment experience is preferred as well as drives, gearboxes, sprockets, chains, bearings, guide rollers, and other related equipment.
* Willingness to work weekends, holidays and off shifts.
* Must be able to act calmly in stressful situations.
* Must be able to write concise, clear, and complete trip reports in the time frame required according to Client's procedures.
* Must have knowledge in the use of personal computers for word processing, data base functions and communications.
* Able to evaluate and analyze minor mechanical failures
